Release from USF - The University of South Florida women’s basketball team invites the public to join the watch party Monday night (March 18) at 7 p.m. as the Bulls await their postseason assignment in the NCAA Selection Show.

Join the team in the club level of the USF Sun Dome and watch the NCAA unveil its tournament field live on ESPN. Fans and media are invited to park for free in Lot 6, and enter through Gate C of the Sun Dome, which will open at 6:30 p.m.

USF is in position for its second NCAA Tournament bid in school history, and its first since 2006. The Bulls knocked off two top-25 teams this season, and won five of their last six road games. ESPN’s Charlie Creme projected USF to be a 10th seed in this year’s tournament, following the Bulls’ close loss to No. 2 Notre Dame during the BIG EAST quarterfinals.

The team collected 21 wins, including 20 regular-season wins and a big win over Rutgers in the BIG EAST Tournament. The Bulls finished in a tie for sixth place in the BIG EAST conference standings, and did not lose a game to any teams outside of the RPI Top-80 this season.
