Trying for a win against the RPI-rated 10th team in the country, USF came up just short on Saturday.

In a tie game USF fouled Devon Kane taking a three with only three-tenths of a second remaining. She made all three as Villanova won 52-49 in Philadelphia. The Bulls fell to 12-5 overall, 1-3 in the Big East while the Wildcats stayed unbeaten in the league and are now 15-2.

Andrea Smith had a chance to put USF ahead but Andrea Smith missed a jumper with eighth seconds left. Twin sister Andrell led the Bulls with 20 points but fouled out with 5:18 to go.
