The University Of South Florida Bulls may have celebrated their 61-57 win over George Mason on Saturday night, but it was without two of their starting five.  Point guard Anthony Collins suffered a neck injury after taking a knee of his head in a second half collision.  Collins was taken off the court on a stretcher after laying on the court for around ten minutes.

Head Coach Stan Heath told the assembled media following the contest that Collins had sensation in all his extremities.  Collins was taken to a hospital for further testing.

Collins was not the only Bulls player to fall to injury on Saturday night as Victor Rudd suffered a concussion late in the game as well.  USF tells 620 WDAE that they do not know the extent of the concussion as of Saturday night, but further tests will be needed.

Rudd was named a national player of the week last week, the first Bulls player to be named by the USBWA to the honor.
