Willie Taggart joined the Sports Page Friday morning and did not shy away from his aspirations for the USF football team.
"We're looking forward to competing against former schools, and building our program into a top 25 program every year. There's no reason for us not to be," Taggart told Tom Jones and Rick Stroud.
The former Manatee High star said he wants to keep Florida's top players in the state, and got into the type of offense he wants to have.
Namely, running the football.
"Everything comes off the run game," he said. "We're trying to be masters of third down, goal line, short yardage and red zone situations. And be confusing to defenses, not just let them line up and tee off on us. But most importantly, being very physical."
