USF junior wide receiver Sterling Griffin will miss the rest of the 2012 regular season after injuring his right knee in the 2nd quarter of the Bulls 32-31 win at Nevada this past weekend.  Griffin is eligible for a medical redshirt and would be able to receive a sixth year of eligibility with the Bulls.

Griffin missed the entire 2010 season recovering from a broken ankle.

Griffin finished 2012 with two catches for 43 yards and a touchdown.
