Nevada jumped out to a 7-0 lead on a 26 yard rush and fumble by Fajardo which was recovered in the end zone by Nevad Sudfeld. Following a three-and-out by the Bulls offense, Fajardo struck again with a one yard touchdown run to put Nevada up 14-0 early in the first quarter.

The Bulls took two steps forward on the comeback trail late in the first half on Demetris Murray’s one yard touchdown run to make it 21-13 Nevada. The Bulls came out of the half and took that second step toward a possible comeback as Lindsey Lamar ran 35 yards for the Bulls third touchdown of the day. The Bulls pulled to within a point at 20-21.
Nevada closed out the third quarter with a touchdown drive of their own as Fajardo scored his second rushing touchdown of the day. Fajardo’s 14 yard touchdown run put the Bulls down 28-20 with the final quarter to play.
Following a Allen Hardison 35 yard field goal for the Wolf Pack, the Bulls down 11 answered back late in the fourth as BJ Daniels found Chris Dunkley on a 52 yard touchdown pass. The Bulls went for the two point conversion but failed and found themselves behind 31-26 to Nevada with less than three minutes to go.
Then the impossible happened. With a 1:38 left in the game and beginning at their own eight yard line, the Bulls drove 92 yards in one minute for the winning score.
