The University of South Florida Men’s Basketball team will be nationally televised on the ESPN family of networks eight times during league action in 2012-13, the BIG EAST announced Wednesday along with the full slate of dates for conference play. Overall, the Bulls will be seen nationally on ESPN 10 times over the season, including two non-conference games (Georgia; at Oklahoma State).

The BIG EAST schedule consists of 18 games with USF playing its mirror teams - Marquette, Louisville, Villanova and Connecticut - both at home and on the road. The Bulls will open conference play with Syracuse at the Sun Dome on Sunday, Jan. 6 and conclude league action at Cincinnati on Saturday March 9.

USF will be featured on ESPN/ESPN2 three times during conference action first at Rutgers (Thursday, Jan. 17 – ESPN/ESPN2), then at home vs. Marquette (Wed., Feb. 6 – ESPN2) and Louisville (Sun., Feb. 17 – ESPN). The Bulls will also make five appearances on ESPNU (Wed., Jan. 23 at Seton Hall; Mon., Jan .28 at Marquette; Sat., Feb. 9 at Villanova; Wed., Feb. 13 vs. Providence; and Wed., March 6 vs. Connecticut). The remainder of USF’s conference games will be produced by ESPN Regional Television for the BIG EAST Network. All BIG EAST Network games will be available on ESPN3.

Additionally, the conference released that USF’s non-conference match-up against Georgia in the SEC-BIG EAST Challenge on Nov. 30 will be televised on ESPNU along with USF’s game at Oklahoma State (Dec. 5).
