AULD LANG SYNE FROM THE SPORTS PAGE

We're definitely in a bittersweet mode on Monday after the Bucs finished up their season with a win over the team that will be the No. 1 seed in the NFC.

So it's a day after the season and naturally... we're already talking about some of the key offseason decisions. Ronde Barber, Eric Wright, Dallas Clark, etc.

So as we move along to non-Bucs stuff....

Oh yes the playoffs are good to go. Great stuff Sunday as the Texans blew the No. 1 AFC seed losing to the Colts, who win in Chuck Pagano's return. Broncos and Pats cruise to earn the byes, and over in the NFC the Vikes and Redskins get in. Here's the Wild Card schedule

Bowls Bowls Bowls. There are 4 on Monday and, led by the Outback Bowl here in Tampa (and on WDAE) a ton of 'em on New Year's Day.

And oh yeah can we please get some hockey? There were some informal talks over the weekend and for some reason the date Jan. 19 keeps popping up as a possible start to the year. We're all for it.
