HAPPY THURSDAY AND IT'S REALLY HAPPY FOR GERALD McCOY

He's one of four Bucs given Pro Bowl honors but the only one guaranteed a trip to Honolulu. Congratulations Gerald, who was voted on by his peers (coaches and players).

Here's some reaction from McCoy and Bucs GM Mark Dominik. McCoy's wife told him, when they were on vacation in Hawaii, that the next time they came the trip would be paid for. She was right!

As for the rest of the Pro-Bowl roster, the comeback seasons for Peyton Manning and Adrian Peterson were rewarded as you'd expect. What you wouldn't except? Five Chiefs made it, and only three Falcons.

Before the Pro Bowl news came down, the Buc story of the day was Eric Wright returning to practice after a 4-week suspension. Says he feels rotten for letting down his teammates, and wants to return if the Bucs will have him.

In other news...

Friend of the show Lomas Brown, c'mon! He admitted to intentionally allowing teammate Scott Mitchell to get sacked so Mitchell would get injured. Mitchell responded not so much in kind.

Trade in baseball where the Boston Red Sox merely pick up a monster closer. Do you think the Rays need to keep adding? We do.

THURSDAY GUEST LIST: We'll talk to Falcons radio man Wes Durham at 8:30.
