Eric Reid, the play-by-play man for the Miami Heat, joined Tom Jones and Rick Stroud on Friday to discuss the newly-crowned world champion, Miami Heat.

Reid discussed the differences of this year's squad versus last year's team.

"I think there were several differences," Reid said.  "For Miami, from a team perspective, there was that understanding very clearly of what it really takes and how hard you have to play and never letting go and sticking together."

Reid also commented on Lebron James.  In a sense, last year's championship defeat changed him and many other players as well.  This was another difference in the Heat, according to Reid.

"He changed his game," Reid said.  "He shot a career high field goal percentage because he stopped shooting 3s.  He brought his game down low, with his work with Hakeem Olajuwon."

As for this year being the only year the Heat win a title, Reid strongly disagrees with that.  He believes the Miami Heat will win more championships in the foreseeable future.

"It's too early to start looking ahead, but you look at the Eastern Conference, I don't see a team out there that can derail Miami from getting back [Finals]," Reid said.  "After what you just witnessed, maybe it won't be just one."
