Amidst the knee-jerk reactions around college football, Florida State's Jimbo Fisher doesn't expect to be on the move anytime soon. He's cozy in Tallahassee and should remain there for the forseeable future.

Third-year Seminoles defensive coordinator Mark Stoops just landed his first head coaching gig with the Kentucky Wildcats. But that doesn't mean everyone is jumping ship in Tallahassee, no matter what you've heard.

Despite rumors to the contrary, the head honcho in Tallahassee is committed to finishing the process he started.

"I’m very happy right here. I’m content to be here, this is where I want to be," Fisher said, according to David M. Hale of NoleNation (via ESPN). "We’re building something special. We’ve got great players. We’ve got great players to come and be here. It’s a great place to live, my family is set up in this community, and I plan on being here a long time.

Like everything in life, nothing is ever certain. Fisher could be fired tomorrow for failing to live up to expectations that he's helped create around his program. But that hasn't fallen lightly on the coach.

"To say you're never going to move in this business as a coach, you can't say that," Fisher said. "It's inevitable. From reporters, people -- there's too many things that go on. But I'm very happy, I'm very content, I want to be here."

Fishers level of "content" may change following Saturday's ACC Championship Game against Georgia Tech. If the Noles can best the Yellow Jackets, a BCS berth in the Orange Bowl will be a good consolation prize after his team missing out on the big dance.

We'll see how it all pans out but Fisher will presumably be the head coach moving forward, no matter what offers SEC schools throw his way.
