After spending a lengthy time talking with David Price, ESPN's Jayson Stark had plenty of information to share with the WDAE listeners Friday.

And not much of it was encouraging.

Basically Stark thinks the Rays will be trading Price sometime after this season.

"History tells us, you don't max out the return if you trade a guy two months before he becomes a free agent, or even one year before he becomes a free agent," Stark said. "Logic tells us, this is probably David Price's last spring and last season as a Ray."

Stark said he does not believe any deal would happen this season. He added that the more he talked to Price about the issue the more Price was "bumming" about it.

In what could be a positive sign Stark noted that on several occasions Price discussed that money is not the end-all factor.
