Hillsborough County Commission Chairman Ken Hagan joined the Ron and Ian Show Tuesday and was in a jovial mood after what Pinellas counterpart Charlie Gerdes came up with.

"I'm ecstatic," Hagan said when talking about the idea of the Rays paying a ee to St. Pete in exchange for being able to explore sites in Hillsborough County.

Hagan said he feels "the momentum is clearly building" for some sort of agreement between the sides of the Bay when it comes to keeping the Rays.
