Sam Fuld became the second Ray to get a new deal and avoid arbitration and shortly after both Matt Joyce and Ryan Roberts did the same.

Marc Topkin of the Tampa Bay Times reports Fuld has agreed on a one-year contract that will pay the outfielder $725,000. Fuld made a little less than a half million last year.

Fuld's season was limited to 44 games because of wrist surgery in the spring.

Joyce, 28, will earn $2.45 million.  Roberts, 32, will earn $2.95 million plus incentives.
