Every few years, all of the MLB clubs get re-designed batting practice caps – which are also worn throughout spring training – and ESPN has the inside track on the new designs. 

Although some teams have chosen to utilize separate home and
away caps or keep the BP caps more traditional, Tampa Bay is sticking with just one design but has made significant changes. The new caps appear to be a lighter-than-Navy front panel with a Columbia Blue brim and the team has moved away from the “TB” and has focused on the sunburst instead.
