It's going to be a little easier on your wallet go attend Rays games in 2013.
The team announced Tuesday that nearly three-fourths of tickets at Tropicana Field will either remain level or decrease in price for the upcoming season.
According to the team's release, the Rays will continue to use a four tier-system of single game pricing: Silver, Gold, Platinum, and Diamond. Upper deck tickets will start at $10 for silver games (28 of the team's 81 home dates), and nearly 80 percent of home games will feature tickets starting at $14 or lower. Also for Gold-level games, outfield seats will be dropped from $22 to $17, a 25 percent decrease.
The team says all weekday games will once again start at 7:10 p.m., with seven games excepted, including Opening Day (a 3:10 start on April 2), Memorial Day (May 27 at 3:10), and the home regular season finale (September 23 at 3:10). Sunday games will remain at 1:40, while Saturday times will be released later.
The Rays are also continuing their free parking offer for carpoolers for the eighth straight season. The first 100 cars with four or more passenger to enter team-controlled lots up to an hour before game time will be allowed to park for free, while on Sundays, all cars with four or more passengers can park for free in team lots, subject to availability.
