Fernando Rodney will have his setup guy back next year.

The Rays and reliever Joel Peralta have come to terms on a new deal.  Terms have not been officially disclosed, rumors from the Dominican Republic Monday said the righthander received a two-year deal with a third-year option.

Peralta, who will be 37 at athe start of next season, went 2-6 with a 3.63 earned run average in 76 games in 2012.  He has spent the last two season mainly as Tampa Bay's eight-inning guy.
