Midnight was the deadline for the Rays to re-sign their own potential free agents. All six stay unsigned.

Relievers Kyle Farnsworth, J.P. Howell and Joel Peralta along with Jeff Keppinger, Carlos Pena and B.J. Upton (see related story) are on the market.

According to Andrew Friedman the Rays have interest in several free agents, including re-signing some of their own, but they may wait to see how the early portion plays out before making a move.
