The Tampa Bay Rays announced on Friday the official release of right-hander Matt Bush. Bush spent the entire season on the restricted list following his DUI hit-and-run arrest back in March.
The former number one overall selection in the 2004 MLB Draft still remains in Charlotte County Jail.
