The trade rumors continue to swirl Tuesday evening as ESPN's Tim Kurkjian is reporting a source says the Rays and Angels are talking a trade involving Rays starting pitcher James Shields.  The source claims the Rays would send Shields to the Angels in return for CF Peter Bourjos and C Hank Conger.  The deal according to Kurkjian's source could be complicated by salary and could include P Ervin Santana.

Shields is 8-6 in 20 starts this season, with a 4.39 ERA.  Shields contract includes club options of 9 million (1.5 million buyout) in 2013, and 12 million (1 million buyout) in 2014.
