The Lightning looked like a rejuvinated hockey team Tuesday night defeating Toronto 4-2 in a sold-out Tampa Bay Times Forum.

Captain Vinny Lecavalier opened the scoring for Tampa Bay at 9:25 in the first period and the Lightning never looked back.

The 2011-12 Rocket Richard Trophy winner Steven Stamkos scored his tenth goal of the season with just under four minutes expired in the second period to put the Bolts up 2-1 after 40 minutes.

Alexander Killorn scored his second goal in as many games with 17:11 left in regulation and if the Lightning felt they needed insurance, they got it with Matt Carle's sniper shot at 6:58 in the third.

Benoit Pouliot had three assists while Anders Lindback stopped 23 of 25 shots.

After the 6-5 OT win against the Panthers Saturday which snapped a six-game losing streak, Tampa Bay looked poised and confident as they handed the Maple Leafs only their third road loss of the season.
