Tampa Bay Lightning head coach Guy Boucher announced today that forward Ryan Malone will be out another three to four weeks with a lower body injury suffered before the Lightning's Sunday game in New York against the Rangers. The Bolts placed Malone on injured reserve and called up Richard Panik from Syracuse yesterday to take Malone's spot on the roster.
It was reported by the Tampa Bay Times Damian Cristodero on 620 WDAE Monday that Malone suffered the injury in a pre-game soccer match with teammates.
