The Lightning dropped their fourth game in a row, 5-1 to the New York Rangers from Madison Square Garden Sunday night.

Carl Hagelin scored twice. All three of his goals this season are against Tampa Bay. Vincent Lecavalier had the Lightning's only tally but that was after the Rangers had gone up 3-0.

It was also after Bolts head coach Guy Boucher pulled goalie Mathieu Garon. Anders Lindback came on to give up two goals, though one came with just eight seconds left from Rick Nash. Before that Aaron Asham made it 4-1 with 7:38 to go.

Garon gave up a goal a mere 31 seconds into the night. Hagelin's shot went through traffic and in. He made it 3-0 midway through the second period. Each of the Rangers' first three goals came on Lightning turnovers.

Tampa Bay's best play came in the first period but it was unable to cash in on several odd-man rushes. And Vincent Lecavalier was in all alone at the 5-minute mark but could not convert against Henrik Lundqvist.

Tampa Bay has just one road win on the season. At least its next game will be at the friendly Times forum Tuesday against Montreal.
