The Lightning have done as much as possible to keep a good connection with their fans during the too-lengthy lockout. But it hasn't prevented some from giving up hope.

Team spokesman Bill Wickett, in a report in Wednesday's Tampa Bay Times, said about 100 fans have cancelled their season tickets.

"We're disappointed for all hockey fans but, in particular, the season ticket members that are our lifeblood," Wickett said.
