Lightning defenseman Victor Hedman joined the Sports Page Friday morning and didn't make it sound like there will be a last-minute resolution to tne NHL labor issue.

"It doesn't look too bright," Hedman said. A lockout looms on Saturday should the sides not come to an agreement.

The issue is how the league wants to divide generated revenue income. The players currently get 57 per cent and the league wants that lowered to 47.

"We stay united as a PA. We stand our ground," Hedman said adding the players were "prepared" for such a circumstance.

Hedman also talked about his offseason, his new fitness app (listen to the interview for details) and how he and his girlfriend have housed new Lightning goalie Anders Lindback.
