Former Armwood standout lineman Matt Patchan will leave the Gators football team for his senior season, reportedly to join one of his former coaches' new teams.

The Gainesville Sun reports Patchan, an often-injured redshirt junior, will head to either Ohio State or Steve Addazio. Of course former Gator head coach Urban Meyer just completed his first season in Columbus leading the Buckeyes to an undefeated year, and Boston College just named Addazio is new coach.

Also sophomore safety Pop Saunders told the Gainesville Sun he will transfer away.

"It's been a long time coming," said Saunders, who miseed the last two games and was not to play in the bowl game due to team rules violations.
