With the loss of Jeff Driskel for next weekends game, the Gators will have the time to evaluate back up quarterback Jacoby Brissett.

Brissett completed 6 of 8 passes for 64 yards and a touchdown on Saturday against Louisiana-Lafayette after Driskel went down with a sprained ankle. Brissett would lead them to a 27-20 victory.

The Sophomore West Palm Beach native has been efficient with limited playing time this season. Passing for 93 yards and a touchdown while completing 9 of 13 passes. 

The Gators will be taking on Jacksonville State (6-4) on saturday at noon.
