CBS NCAA/NFL analyst Randy Cross was a guest on the Sports Page on Thursday.  He shared his thoughts on the upcoming season for the Florida Gators, who are getting ready for another season under head coach Will Muschamp.

Meanwhile, Cross said the Gators will make it back up to the upper tier of the SEC, eventually. 

"There's no doubt they will, I'm just very skeptical it will be this year," Cross said.  "They're looking up at Georgia, they're looking up at South Carolina, and it's not what you call a real comfortable situation for the Gators.  I think it's going to be a little bit like last year.  If those coaches and that staff and team really come together, I look at them maybe as an 8 win team."

"It could be a weird year for the Gators, I think," Cross said.
