A chance to get revenge for a bitter home defeat comes one day sooner for the Rowdies.

Tampa Bay announced Wednesday that their home game at Al Lang Stadium against the Minnesota Stars FC, originally scheduled for Saturday, May 26, has been rescheduled for Friday, May 25. Kickoff remains the same at 7:30 p.m.

Minnesota knocked the Rowdies out of the playoffs with a 1-0 defeat in St. Pete, Tampa Bay's first postseason game in the USL.

The Stars did go on to win the league title as the sixth seed.

The Tampa Bay Rowdies Wednesday announced the signing of forward/midfielder Fabrice Picault (pronounced Pee-caul) to a two-year contract, with a club option for the 2013 season.

Picault (5-8, 140) is a former member of the United States U-20 Men’s National’s Team. The 20-year old of Haitian descent, who will celebrate his 21st birthday this Thursday, grew up in Miami and New York City. Picault will join the team this Friday.

He spent the last four seasons of his young professional career playing for Cagliari Calcio in Italy’s Primavera division. The Campionato Primavera is the top competition in Italy for the youth teams of Serie A clubs. Picault’s professional experience and overseas training coupled with his unique technical skills and speed made him the most sought after player at the 2012 NASL combine

The FC Sligo Rovers have announced the signing of former University of Tampa standout and Haitian National player Pascal Millien for the 2012 Airtricity League season.

Millien joins the Sligo Rovers after leaving the Tampa Bay Rowdies. He previously spent the last two weeks on trial with the club.

A pacey winger, Millien scored in Saturday's friendly win over Athlone Town. He becomes the fourth signing of the day for the club.

Millien starred for UT from 2007-09, where he netted 25 goals and 29 assists in 55 games for the Spartans. He also notched 10 game-winners for Tampa.
