The Buccaneers were busy again on Friday. They traded WR Arrelious Benn and a 7th round pick in 2013 to the Eagles for a 6th round pick this year and a conditional pick in the 2014 draft.
Benn was Tampa Bay's second round pick back in 2010 and has been a major disappointment. Benn recorded just 4 catches last season. In his three seasons with the Bucs, Benn had 59 catches for 862 yards and 5 touchdowns. With this trade, the Bucs now have 8 picks in the upcoming draft, including two picks in round 4 and two picks in round 6.
Also on Friday, DT Roy Miller left the Bucs to sign a 2-year deal with the Jaguars. Miller had just 24 tackles last season but was a key component in Tampa Bay's number-1 ranked rush defense.
