On Saturday, February 23, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and USA Football will host youth football leaders from West Florida for the 2013 USA Football State Leadership Forum. Youth football league commissioners from the area will convene at the team's training facility, One Buccaneer Place, to meet with USA Football, the official youth football development partner of the Buccaneers, the NFL, and the NFL Players Association.
USA Football hosts 35 State Leadership Forums across the United States, providing youth football league commissioners and presidents the opportunity to network with peers, USA Football representatives, and NFL teams to gain insight into best practices for their players' benefit, including strengthening player safety through USA Football's "Heads Up Football" program.
USA Football offers coaching and game official education, innovative digital football resources for players and coaches, $1 million in annual equipment grants, subsidized background checks for leagues' adult volunteers, and more.
USA Football, the sport's national governing body in the United States, hosts dozens of football training events annually, offering education for coaches, skill development for players, and resources for youth football league commissioners. USA Football manages U.S. national teams within the sport for international competitions and provides more than $1 million annually in equipment grants and youth league volunteer background check subsidies.
