Bucs' special assistant Butch Davis will not be leaving to take the head coaching job at Florida International.

That's the word from Davis' lawyer Sunday.

Jon Sasser told the Miami Herald Davis "will not be taking the FIU job" and further that he plans to stay with the Bucs.
