Ronde Barber didn't speak at length to the media Wednesday, but he did so with force.

Barber was approached by Tampa Tribune Bucs reporter Roy Cummings to comment on a profootballtalk.com report that said an anonymous Bucs player said some coaches needed to go "back to college."

His response: "Somebody said what? That's a (bleeping) made-up quote. No one in this locker room said that. I can promise you that."

When approached by WDAE's Ronnie Lane to expound, Barber declined to get into more details.

Mike Florio, who had the report Tuesday, responded to Barber by saying "If Ronde is aware of every private communication in which is 52 teammates engage, that's even more impressive than his Hall of Fame playing career."
