The 3-4 Bucs made their final preparations at One Buc Place Friday for Sunday’s game at Oakland against the 3-4 Raiders.  The Bucs appear to be in good shape health wise.  On the injury report, CB Eric Wright (Achilles), CB Brandon McDonald (ankle), DE Michael Bennett (ankle) and LT Donald Penn (wrist) are listed as probable.

The Raiders have a laundry list of injuries.  Among the notables, T Khalif Barnes (groin) and CB Shawntae Spencer (foot) are out.  LB Rolando McClain (toe) and RB Taiwan Jones (knee) are questionable.  DT Richard Seymour (knee), K Sebastian Janikowski (groin), C Stefen Wisniewski (ankle), RB Darren McFadden (shoulder), RB Mike Goodson (toe), and LT Jared Veldheer (elbow) are all probable.

News & Notes:

  • Bucs players were in no mood Friday to talk about the trade of Aqib Talib to the Patriots.  Head coach Greg Schiano towed the company line by saying it was in “the best interests of the organization”.
  • Bucs RB Doug Martin was named the NFL Offensive Rookie of the Month for October.  Martin rushed for 296 yards at more than 5-yards per carry and also caught 8 balls for 171 yards in October.
  • Martin was born in Oakland so this week’s game is a homecoming for him.  He says he will have about 60 family and friends attending the game.
  • In case you missed it after the Talib fanfare, the Bucs did promote DE Aaron Morgan from the practice squad and waived DE George Johnson.
