The Bucs season could be taking a turn for the better, with the return of a key player who is coming off an injury.
The team recieved good news this week, after coming off a big win on Sunday, the Bucs got word that defensive end Da'Quan Bowers will come off the physically-unable to-play list.
In May, Bowers ruptured his Achilles tendon while conditioning. This will be his first week back at practice since suffering the injury.
This does not assure the Bucs that Bowers will play in 2012. It does however, give them a 21 day window to decide if they will put him on the active roster.
Coach Greg Schiano said during his press conference with WDAE, "You really just have to play it by ear," He went on to say, " It's how he responds to increased workload as he does a little more. He's done an incredible job in his rehab, but it's like four different phases."
Wednesday, October 17th will be Bower's first practice back with the team since his injury.
