Official word won't come down until late Friday, with the NFL mandating teams cut their rosters to 53 by 9 p.m. But reportedly the Bucs have already informed running back Mossis Madu and safety Larry Asante they will be released, among others
Cody Grimm, Keith Tandy, Larry Asante, Mossis Madu, Frank Okam, Rennie Curran are among the names that have either tweeted about their released or been reported to be released.
The Tampa Tribune is reporting the agent for Jamarcus Hardick and Moe Petrus has said they have been cut.
Again....No confirmation from the Buccaneers on any of these names.
Madu's agent informed Tampa Bay Times writer that Madu is out. Click HERE for more from the Times.
Friday's cutdowns are by far the most notable of Training Camp, involving two dozen decisions.
During his Thursday press conference, heard live on the Sports Animal, Bucs head coach Greg Schiano indicated that the injured Regis Benn and E.J. Biggers are not in danger of being cut.
