Former Buccaneer great Warren Sapp spoke with Tom Jones and Rick Stroud on the Sports Page. Sapp spoke on a variety of topics ranging from Trent Dilfer to Keyshawn Johnson to Monte Kiffin. Also, Sapp briefly spoke about his prospects of joining the Pro Football Hall of Fame.
In addition, the former defensive lineman touched on an intriguing topic, mentoring defensive tackle Gerald McCoy.
"When I come back from L.A., me and him are going to get on the field," Sapp said.
"I want to see what he's thinking, you know? Get the mind right and a couple little tips here and there. This ain't rocket science, I'm not going to give him the formulas to become the next tyrant on the field. I promise you, you'll see a much more improved and much more complete player on the field this year," Sapp said.
Warren Sapp's book Sapp Attack will hit book shelves on August 21.
