We all know the straight face, all business attitude of a champion look, that Tiger Woods often displays on the golf course. We've seen the short, vague responses he gives at media press conferences. Maybe it's just Tiger being Tiger. Tuesday at the U.S. Open Champions Dinner at Merion Golf Club, Tiger showed that he can have a little bit of fun too.
Earlier this year Nike Golf premiered a comical commercial with Tiger Woods and Rory McIlroy competing against each other in a trick shot competition. Seems the playful nature of their relationship didn't stop there. During a group photograph at Merion, Woods decided to kid around with fellow golfer McIlroy. Woods took a chance to flick Rory's ear when he wasn't looking.
This year's U.S. Open is destined to be a good one. Tiger and Rory are set to tee off later today together with Master's Champion Adam Scott. Can Rory get his second U.S. Open? Will Adam Scott win his second major? Or will Tiger return to the majors champion we all know?
Tune into the "Steve Duemig Show" 3-6PM weekdays, and check out the Big Dog's page for everything U.S. Open at Merion this week.
