Tough day at the track yesterday folks! Between some bad racing luck and some idiot rides from really good jockeys, there was not much to be had in the races I posted yesterday. But today's another day and hopefully we can get some things turned around. The same thing holds today as yesterday. The Breeders Cup doesn't actually start until the Days 4th race. But it would appear as race 1 in the Breeders Cup program. The actual track race will appear in parentheses and the corresponding Cup race will appear as is.. As Chris Thomas used to say to me on several occasions. "Steven, we only need to hit one good one to make the day" . Let's see if we can't find that ONE or two today!

Race 4 (1) Breeders Cup Juvenile Turf

Win bet on #6 Dundonnell- One of many Euros shipped in for this race. the Euro horses usually dominate the turf races in the Cup so no need to look elsewhere, especially for 2 year olds. The Euro horses are bred to run on turf and that's why they dominate. Juddmont Farms is legend for the breeding of great horses and Dundonnell is just the next one in line. He has tactical speed that can shut off the late runners in this race. Early speed will show but the best horse to run the race consistently throughout is the #8

You can throw in exacta combos of the 6 over 2-3-5. If you want to box the 4 horses for $2.00 would cost $24.00. To play with a single horse under the 6 would cost only $2.00

Race 6 (3) Breeders Cup Dirt Mile

A win bet on old nemesis Shackelford the #6 horse. This horse drove us all nuts in the triple crown races of 2011. He would always go to the front and hope to hang on. 4 times he has done that in 16 races. The jockey change to Ramon dominguez will help tremendously. If you watched yesterday he did a very good job on every ride he had. He knows how to rate a horse and Shakelford is a horse that has to be rated. If not he would just simply go to the front and blow himself out. Notice that his main competition in this race Emcee the #7 horse has never been around 2 turns so it will be interesting to watch how this race unfolds. After watching yesterday. the early speed seem to be favorable so we will go with the fastest horse early by far.

A trifecta, triple key  wager of the 6 over 3-5-7. would cost you $6.00

Race 7 (4)  Breeders Cup Turf Sprint

The only reason I am adding this race is because it's the Race that has Jim Rome's horse Mizdirection #11 in it. He has no chance in this race IMO but I thought for watching purposes we put it up there. He is in very tough but stranger things have happened.

# 13 Unbridle's Note should be perfectly fitted for this race and he has the best jockey for turf racing in Cory Nakatani.
you can throw in a triple key of 13/1-9-10 and reverse it with 1-9-10/13 Each would cost $6.00

Race 8 (5) Grey Goose Breeders Cup Juvenile

Win bet on #9 Power Broker- Baffert trained horse. Bob is VERY good at training 2 year old horses, so anytime he sddles one up we have to pay attention. And we are.  Shows the most potential than any other horse in the field. I don't like betting favorites but I see no other horse contending here.

Race 12 (9) Breeders cup Classic

Win bet on #5 Game On Dude.  He had this race in the bag last year until Drosselmeyer ran past him in the stretch for the upset victory. Baffert has pointed to this race since last year and it's his home track.

The next set of horses should come in as follows #2 Flat Out, #4 Fort Larned , #10 Ron The Greek. and #11 Mucho Macho Man.
You could play a triple Key of 13/2-4-10-11 and reverse of 2-4-10-11/13 . Each would cost $12.00

Good Luck!. We need a bit after yesterday. BET ONLY WHAT YOU CAN AFFORD. Talk to ya on Monday
