In every triple crown race there is a filly race of equal importance the Friday afternoon before thE big race.
Today will see the running of the Black Eyed Susan. A race for 3 yr old fillies.
Pimlico will offer a special daily double whee you can pick the winner of today's race and then pick the winner of tomorrow's race.
I don't think there's anyone in the field for tomorrow that can beat Orb if he runs his race so he will be out only selection for tomorrow's leg of the double.
Today however is a different scenario altogether. There are 3 really nice fillies running in this race.
Bob Baffert has the #3 horse Fiftyshadesofhay and Joel Rosario the best jock going right now, riding. He will also be on Orb tomorrow. The #5 horse Walkwithapurpose finished third in his previous race but was coming off 5 straight victories. She has also had three straight bullet works over this track and will be in the lead. Finally the #7 Emolient is the favorite with Mike Smith aboard. Her last race she drew off on the field to win by 9 lengths. I don't think we've seen her best yet either.
So you can do a straight double of #7 today Emolient and pair her with Orb tomorrow and for any amount you are comfortable with.
Would look like this. A double for __ amount if 7/1
Or you can do what I did and hope for maybe a better odds horses like the 3 and 5 and pair with Orb
My bet looks like this
3-5-7/1
Good luck and we should know this evening if we are live for tomorrow's shot at the double.
