VIDEO: Old Man Makes Catch Of The Year At Wrigley Field

Say hello to Mike Pullin of Rochelle, IL as he came to Wrigley Field on a Monday night because he wanted to see Javier Baez play.  However the 65-year-old retiree may have made the biggest catch in Wrigley Field since Steve Bartman.

Pullin was sitting in the last row of the left-field bleachers in the second inning when the Brewers' Mark Reynolds blasted his 20th home run of the season heading for Waveland avenue.  But Pullin wouldn’t let that ball disgrace the friendly confines of Wrigley Field by exiting the ground.

Instead he brought his glove, reached out and caught the ball avoiding falling over the railing which borders the outfield grandstands.

The best part of the story may be the lie he told by throwing another baseball back onto the field instead of the ball he caught.

Who needs tradition when you make a grab like that!
