What an awesome story! We might hate the way the season ended for the Tampa Bay Lightning, but you have to love the way it ended for the St. Louis Blues and their super fan Laila Anderson, who the team awarded a championship ring for inspiring them with the way she's battling cancer.
This is one of the stories that remind us why we love sports. This little girl went from believing she couldn't even attend a game because of her health, to becoming an inspiration for the team she loves so much. Now she's the proud owner of a real championship ring. That's just awesome!
