Baltimore Ravens at Kansas City Chiefs (PICK: KC -6)
- This one should be fun. I love what Lamar Jackson has done early on. He looks like a real NFL QB! With that being said, Patrick Mahomes has already emerged as a top QB in the NFL. This has potential to be a big shoot out. I think Baltimore keeps it close but the better team wins at home late. Chiefs win by at least a touchdown.
Atlanta Falcons at Indianapolis Colts (PICK: Falcons +1.5)
- These teams are pretty even but I like Matt Ryan stepping up and having a big game. Atlanta gets the job done late.
Carolina Panthers at Arizona Cardinals (PICK: Arizona PK)
- Cam Newton is hurt and Kyler Murray has shown improvement in both games. With Cam being hampered I see this being Kyler’s coming out party. Arizona’s aggressive style prevails in this one.
#11 Utah at #24 USC (PICK: Utah -3)
- Utah’s defense has been big for them early on this season. I see that continuing against USC. USC had a tough loss last week against BYU and Utah has already taken care of business against BYU. Utah gets just enough defensive stops to get the win.
#10 Michigan at #14 Wisconsin (PICK: Wisco -3)
- Michigan has a week of rest to help them forget about their near disaster against Army. Bad news for Michigan though, Wisconsin is coming off a week of rest as well. Wisconsin’s defense is #1 in the country. They have yet to give up a single point. I see Wisconsin at home getting the job done and winning convincingly.

Houston Texans at LA Chargers (PICK: Texans +160, straight up win)
- Two evenly matched teams. Houston’s defense makes a big stop late to get the underdog win on the road. Houston’s D is the difference in this Houston win.
