According to NFL Network insider Ian Rapoport, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers have selected former Saints and Browns kicker Patrick Murray from a tryout held today at One Buccaneers Place.
Pat Murray went 20-for-24 on field goals with the Bucs in 2014 with a long of 55 yards, also went 31-for-31 on extra points. A knee injury took Pat Murray out of the Bucs' kicking job in 2015, and another knee injury ended his time with the Browns last season.
Murray was signed by the Saints last August, but was put on waivers just six days later.
The Tampa Bay Buccaneers have not confirmed the report.
