HUNTER JOINS WALKING WOUNDED: After suffering a right calf strain in the sixth inning of Saturday night's win over Houston, the Ray had to place reliever Tommy Hunter on the 10-day disabled list and calling up right-hander Chih-Wei Hu from Triple-A Durham to make his big-league debut.

The 23-year-old right-hander was 1-0 with a 3.94 earned run average in three starts with the Bulls.  He was acquired at the trade deadline in 2015 from the Minnesota Twins for reliever Kevin Jepsen.

Hu is the first Taiwanese player in franchise history, and just the second active player from Taiwan in the majors, joining LHP Wei-Yin Chen of the Marlins.

Hu's teammate in Triple-A, Jose De Leon, took to Twitter to congratulate his teammate.
